Harry B. "Sonny" Null, Jr., 78, of Toboso, Ohio died Thursday evening, October 1, 2015 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, Ohio.
Born February 11, 1937 in Holland, Ohio he was the son of the late Harry B. Null, Sr. and Stella M. (Rayoum) Null. He was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church. Sonny retired from the oil fields, where he was a pumper. For the past 29 years he has pursued his love of working on cars, mowers or anything with a motor. He enjoyed riding and taking trips with his wife on his Harley-Davidson, or just riding with his friends. His many fishing trips to Canada gave him many big tales to tell. Sonny was never too busy to spend time in his garage, just visiting with friends, especially his special nephew, Johnny Null and his special friend, Stevie Carrelli, who were both like sons to him.
Surviving is his wife, Susan (Hostetler) Kerr Null whom he married November 15, 1986; three sons, Terry, Dennis and Jerry Null; a daughter, Sonia Null; a step-son, Matthew (Laura) Kerr of Dover, Ohio; four grandsons, Jeremy, James, Luke and Drake; four sisters, Shirley Snydecki and Diane (Wayne) Isreal, both of Missouri, Elaine (Randy) Cartner of Hopewell, Ohio and Patricia Stoneking of Newark and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-son, Mark Kerr; two brothers, John and Leroy and a sister Larene.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Holman officiating. Burial will be in Halifax Cemetery in Coshocton County.
