FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Hallie B. McArtor, 94, of Nashport will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. McArtor died Sunday morning, November 28, 2004 at the Autumn Health Care Center in Newark, Ohio. Born December 5, 1909 in Coshocton County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Elmer G. and Clara B. (Ramsey) Ashcraft and was a homemaker. Mrs. McArtor was a member of the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and was a Charter member of the United Methodist Women. Surviving is one son, James O. (Nadine) McArtor of Nashport; three grandchildren, Mike (Dayle) McArtor of Newark, Molly (Dwayne) Allbaugh and Mark (Lori) McArtor both of Nashport; eight great grandchildren, Erica Allbaugh, Daniel Allbaugh, Todd McArtor, Carrie McArtor, Trent McArtor, Drake McArtor, Drew McArtor and Ashton McArtor; one brother, Carl Ashcraft of Newark; one sister, Audrey Wright of Newark; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cary O. ?Bud? McArtor, whom she married July 23, 1934 and who died January 4, 1976; four brothers, Otto, Russell, Chester and Elbert Ashcraft; and a sister Agnes Smith. Calling hours will be 7 to 9pm Tuesday, November 30, 2004 and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Frazeysburg.
