Obituary
H. Neal Baughman, 60, of Dresden, passed at 3:32AM Monday September 6, 2010 at Morrison House Hospice following a twelve month illness.
Born July 2, 1950 in Frazeysburg, he was a son of the late Harold N. and Ruth (Robison) Baughman. He was a 1968 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and worked at Dresden Concrete and Adams Brothers for 20 years and had operated several small businesses. In November of 2009, he was elected to the Dresden Village Council.
Surviving are his wife, Sally (Lavy) Baughman; a daughter, Gayle (Eric) Detwiler of Wake Forest, NC; a step son, Sam Jones of Zanesville; a grandson Mason Detwiler; a step granddaughter, Tiffanie Jones of Zanesville; his brother, David (Helen) Baughman of Heath.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a very special aunt and uncle, Lester and Grace Baughman.
A memorial service will be held at 4PM Sunday September 26, 2010 with Dr. William McClelland officiating, friends may call from 3-pm until the time of service.
The family extends a very grateful acknowledgement to all involved in Nealâ??s illness and treatment the past year, especially his medical team, family and friends who made the journey with us.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dresden Police Dept. Cruiser Fund; the Animal Shelter or Genesis Hospice.
