Grace A. Williams, 90, of Zanesville, died Thursday morning January 15, 2009 surrounded by her family following a three week illness. Mrs. Williams was born October 3, 1918 in Adamsville, a daughter of the late Alva and Robertha (Morrison) Wisecarver. She had attended the old Stony Point School in Muskingum County and had retired from the housekeeping department at the Holiday Inn of Zanesville. She is survived by her son, Guy (Gail) Williams of Newark; a daughter, Diann Williams of Zanesville and two grandchildren, Abby (Stuart) Paul of Fairborn, Shawn Williams of Newark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Lester Williams, whom she had married August 3, 1944 and two brothers, Leonard and Clyde Wisecarver. Friends may call 5-8PM Friday January 16, 2009 at the North Terrace Church of Christ, 1420 Brandywine Blvd, Zanesville. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1PM at the church with Bill Meaige officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, Adamsville.
