FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Grace Baughman, 86, of Reform Road, Newark, Ohio will be at 11:00am Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Baughman died Friday evening, April 29, 2005 at the Newark Health Care Centre. Born October 24, 1918 in Hocking County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lucinda (Harmon) Wheeler. Mrs. Baughman, along with her husband, operated a successful dairy farm for many years near Reform. Since 1941 she was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and for many years was township clerk for Perry Township of Licking County. She was also a member of the Licking County Farm Bureau and the Licking County Cooperative Extension Homemakers Council. Surviving is two sons and daughters in-law, Joe and Dorothy Baughman and Randy and Kathy Baughman, all of Newark; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Daniel Baughman, whom she married July 12, 1941 and who died January 3, 1984; a daughter, Sue Baughman McArtor who died November 16, 1990; and two brothers, Don Wheeler and Glen Wheeler. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, May 2, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg.
