Gloria A. Lake, 85, formerly of Trinway, Ohio died Tuesday morning, September 19, 2017 at the home of her son in Frazeysburg, Ohio.

Born June 14, 1932 in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Bryan and Jolliett (Fogle) Lucas and was a 1950 graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School. Mrs. Lake was a member of the Trinway United Methodist Church and she enjoyed gardening, reading and being with her family. She was employed for over 30 years by the Longaberger Company.

Surviving are two sons and daughters in-law, Richard and Cindy Lake and Randy and Lori Lake, all of Frazeysburg; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Amye, Shawn, Adam, Brandi, Melissa and Lindsey; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother, George (Janet) Lucas of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 56 years, George F. Lake whom she married July 4, 1950 and who died April 5, 2006; a sister, Iso Pearl Lucas and a brother, Richard Lucas.

Calling hours will be 6pm to 8pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Sharon Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
