Obituary

FRAZEYSBURG ? Glenna O. Hamilton, 86, of Newark, Ohio, formerly of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 6:30am Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Born August 28, 1920 in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Warrick M. and Jessie I. (Davenport) Knicely and was a graduate of New Concord High School. Mrs. Hamilton was a homemaker and a former member of Maranatha Bible Church and was currently attending Newark Bible Church. Surviving is three sons, W. Daniel (Joyce) Hamilton, Jr. of Glenford, Ohio, W. David Hamilton and his friend Nancy Gable of Whitehouse, Ohio and Dale (Joanie) Hamilton of Zanesville; four daughters, Sue (Doug) Kalmbach of Rossford, Ohio, Lois (Walter) Flowers of Hanover, Ohio, Alice (Chuck) Jacob of Zanesville and Connie (Bill) Finney of Newark; two brothers, Norris (Mary) Knicely of St. Louisville, Ohio and Virgil (Mary) Knicely of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister in-law, Mary Hamilton of New Concord, Ohio; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Hamilton, Sr., whom she married April 22, 1941 and who died December 30, 2000 and a sister, Velma Snook. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 10:30am Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the funeral home with Mrs. Hamilton?s grandsons, the Rev.?s Mark Flowers, Casey Hamilton and Joshua Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery at Adamsville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Builders Ministries, 2400 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
