A funeral service for Glenn M. Knighton, 44, of Heath will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 22, 2003 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Knighton died Tuesday afternoon August 19, 2003 at his residence. Mr. Knighton was born July 16, 1959 in Newark to Mary Lou (Snelling) Knighton and the late Robert W. Knighton, Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of West Muskingum High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Knighton was employed as a fork lift operator for Excell Logistics. In addition to his mother, Mr. Knighton is survived by: two sons, Michael Knighton of Shade, Ohio, and Josh Brown of Marion; a sister, Karen Brailer of Columbus; four brothers, Rick Knighton of Hebron, Gary (Becky) Knighton of Dayton, Steve Knighton of Newark, Greg Knighton of Heath; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Knighton, Jr. Calling hours will be Thursday, August 21, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street, Newark.
