Obituary
A funeral service for Glenn David Wooten, 60 of Heath will be held Thursday June 3, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will be in Pataskala Cemetery.
Mr. Wooten, retired from Pfeister Food Sales, died Sunday May 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Finley Glenn and Katherine Irene (Bocook) Wooten.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue (Mount) Wooten, whom he married July 24, 1971; daughters, Kimberly (Chad) Nance of Seminole, Florida, Jennifer Wooten of Heath; grandchildren, Amy Nance, Daniel Nance, Brandon Nance, Jenay Wooten; sisters, Mary Wooten and Cheryl Wooten both of Blacklick, Paula Wooten of Columbus; brother, Johnny Lecompte of Florida; brother-in-law, Marc Crumpler of Columbus, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Crumpler.
Calling hours will be observed Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street.
Memorial contributions may be made Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058-0430 . Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
