FRAZEYSBURG ? Geraldene C. Moran, 84, of Frazeysburg, Ohio went to be with her Lord at 6:15pm Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio. Born June 28, 1922 in Nashport, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Manoah and Sarah (Pethtel) Cameron and was a 1941 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Mrs. Moran was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, working in her yard and the pond at the family farm. She also enjoyed sports, especially tennis and basketball. She was a member of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Frazeysburg Revitalization Association. She served 12 years on the Frazeysburg Village Council. Surviving is her husband, Paul E. Moran, whom she married July 20, 1946; three sons and daughters in-law, Steve and Beverly Moran of Frazeysburg, Richard and Cathy Moran of Conesville, Ohio and Robert and Linda Moran of Frazeysburg; seven grandchildren, Cari (Tye) Mohler of Zanesville, Tiffany Moran of Dresden, Amber (Matt) Lewis of Newark, Ashley Moran of Perrysburg, Ohio, Angela Moran of Frazeysburg, Hillary Moran and Dean Moran, both of Conesville; two great grandchildren, Jordan and Brandyn Mohler; two sisters, Doris Barrick of Frazeysburg and Elogene Wilson of Newark; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters, Mary Alice Oldaker, Roberta Stiles, Joanna Ragor, Phyllis Kanavel, Juanita Bone and Hazel Cameron and four brothers, Jack Cameron, Earl Cameron, Beryl Cameron and Henry Cameron. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, April 12, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
