Gerald L. Hindel, 81, of Dresden, died at 12:15AM Tuesday July 14, 2009 at Autumn HealthCare in Zanesville. Mr. Hindel was born September 29, 1927, a son of the late Lewis and Erma (Hash) Hindel. He was retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas in Newark and was a US Navy veteran of WWII. Surviving are his children, Gary Hindel of Coshocton, Edwin (Cindy) Hindel of Norwalk, Sherry (Terry) Valentine of Norwalk; his twin brother, Harold ?Tubby? (Jane) Hindel of Dresden; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. The Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden is in charge of arrangements.
