A funeral service celebrating the life of Georgiann Allen Kautz, 86 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at Community Church Newark, 161 Myrtle Avenue, Newark.

Mrs. Kautz passed away Monday morning, May 17, 2021 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 9, 1934 in Tygarts Valley, Kentucky to the late Elwood and Allie (Hall) Logan.

A pastor's wife, loving mother and devout Christian woman, Mrs. Kautz was a long-time member of Community Wesleyan Church where she served along side her late husband, Pastor Billy Reid Allen.  She was a member of The Gideons International, Missionary Society and the Women of the Church of God.  Mrs. Kautz was also an avid Kentucky Wildcat's fan, Go Blue!

Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Kautz, Jr.; daughters, Angela (Jeff) Salyer, Tammy (Gary) Bonner, all of Newark, Pam (John) Thomas of Lancaster; step-sons, Rusty Kautz and Ron Kautz; three sisters, Betty Lewis, Janet Johnson and Carol Plummer; eight grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Reid Allen, December 5, 1988; and three brothers, Bill Logan, Bob Logan and Bronston Logan.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the church.
