George Hahn, 72, of Dresden, died early Saturday morning August 2, 2008 at Morrison House Hospice. Mr. Hahn was born December 6, 1935 in Dresden, a son of the late Guy and Clara (Wolford) Hahn. He was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson High School and worked at General Electric in Coshocton from 1967 until he retired in 1994. Mr. Hahn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dresden, a social member of VFW Post 1330 in Coshocton and enjoyed golfing, camping and bowling in the GE league. Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Lucas) Hahn, whom he married June 5, 1960; daughters, Kimberlin (Michael) Kullman of Dresden, Tamara Hahn of Dresden; two sisters, Betty (Charles) Cox of Coshocton, Annabelle Cantrell of Coshocton; two grandchildren, Patience Davis and Kirby Kullman; a great-granddaughter Hayleigh Davis and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Hahn and a brother, Donald Hahn. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday Aug. 5, 2008 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden, where services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday Aug. 6, 2008 with Pastor Andrew Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
