A funeral service for Gary Edward Dillon, 40 of Newark will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 31, 2004 at the Heath Church of Christ, 1331 Hebron Road, Heath with David Mason and Ray Linn officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.Mr. Dillon a plumber for JB Plumbing died Wednesday July 28, 2004. He was born September 6, 1963 in Newark, Ohio to the late George Frederick Dillon and Shirley A. (Dillon) Dillon of Newark.Survivors in addition to his mother include, son, Keith Edward Dillon of Newark; daughter, Lacey Brooke Mankin of Fostoria; brother, Bradley E. (Connie) Dillon, USAF of Sumter, S. Carolina; sisters, Sabrina (Stan) Valenta of Mayfield Village, Oh., Karla (Larry) Scoles of Newark, Brenda (Jamie) Banks of Newark; special companion, Carol J. Farmer of Newark , several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Gary was a member of the Newark FOE # 387, Licking County Plumbers Association. He attended the Heath Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, camping and Wednesday night Jamming Sessions playing his guitar.Calling hours will be observed Friday July 30, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home 1850 West Main Street Newark Eagles services will be held Friday at 5:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
