Obituary

Gary L. ?Big Dumb? Foster, Sr. 51, of Zanesville, died unexpectedly Wednesday June 18, 2008 at Bethesda Hospital. He was born November 24, 1956 in Zanesville, son of the late George Edward Foster and V. Irene (Jordan) Foster of Walhonding. Gary was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver and had worked at Peabody Coal and had worked 13 years at Oxford Mining. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion to Post #399 in Dresden and enjoyed country music and Nascar. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Gary (Jacqueline) Foster, Jr., of Dresden, Shane (Alyssa) Foster of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Jayana, Blaze, Jordan, Breeze and Lov?; his brothers and sisters, Donna Abbott of Walhonding, Jack (Kitty) Myers of Dresden, Don (Sue) Myers of Nashport, Jerry Foster of Dresden, Julie Hipkins of Zanesville, Mike (Beckie) Foster of Adams Mills, many nieces and nephews and his favorite cat, ?Tiggy?. Friends may call 2-6PM Sunday June 22, 2008 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden. Cremation will follow the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund established for his beloved grandchildren at Century National Bank, P.O. Box 507, Dresden, OH 43821.
