A memorial service for Fredrick Alan Wright, 26 of Newark will be held Sunday January 14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Second Church of Christ, 19 S. Williams Street with Eric Miller officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery at a later date. Fred died Wednesday January 10, 2007 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born November 2, 1980 in Newark. He was a former employee of Meijer and Anomatic. He had attended Lakewood Schools. Fred enjoyed fishing, playing games, spending time with his family and his dog, Princess. He was an active member of the Second Church of Christ and an Ohio State fan. Survivors include his mother, Esther M. (Burroughs) Speakman; sister, Carla Landis of Newark; brother, Charles (Grace) Bolin of Ladson, S.C.; nieces and nephews; Matt & Amy, Derick & Rachelle, Bobby, Jonathon, Kelley, Sarah and Sam; two great-nephew, Benjamin and Justin. His father, Fredrick L. Wright, preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 1995. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the church, 19 S. Williams Street.
