Frederick "Fred" M. Anderson, 86, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday night, July 4, 2023 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born November 21, 1936 in Zanesville, Ohio he was a son of the late Kenneth E. and Ruth C. (Graham) Anderson and was a 1954 graduate of Union High School.  Fred was a member of the Cooperdale Church of The Nazarene and a farmer with Anderson Brothers' Farms.  He enjoyed traveling, tractor pulls at fairs and spending time with his family.  Fred was extremely proud to be a farmer and even more proud that he spent his life farming side by side with his brother, Joe.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia (Campbell) Anderson whom he married November 25, 2019; two daughters, Malinda (Harold) Madden of Adamsville, Ohio and Mary Ann (Harry Rasmussen) Anderson of Dresden, Ohio; three grandchildren, Martie (Nathan) Dusenbery, James (Connie) Madden and Carolyn (Tom) Baker; fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; brother, William "Andy" E. (Donna) Anderson of Ashland, Ohio; sister in-law, Ellen Anderson of Dresden, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy E. Anderson whom he married October 19, 1957 and who died April 12, 2015; daughter, Pauline D. Anderson and a brother, Joe Anderson.

Friends and family may call from 6pm to 8pm Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral Services will be 11:00am Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Jones and Pastor David Phillips officiating.

Fred will be laid to rest next to his first wife, Nancy, in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
