FRAZEYSBURG ? Frederick E. Hay, 83, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 3:08pm Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born February 3, 1923 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Myra (Sutton) Hay and was an Army veteran serving during World War II. Mr. Hay was a farmer and he retired in 1980 as a kiln operator for Bowerston Shale Company of Hanover, Ohio. He was a member of the Perryton Church of Christ and he enjoyed spending time with his family and visiting with shut-ins. Surviving is his wife, Twila J. (Moran) Hay, whom he married June 27, 1948; three daughters, Pamela S. Hay of Newark, Ohio, Janet (Fred) Eberts of Frazeysburg and Sally (Ben) Keck of Hanover; one brother, Paul (Barbara) Hay of Newark; five grandchildren, Bill (Heather) Eberts of Hanover, Robert Eberts of Denver, Colorado, Missy (Shaun) Paciorek of Malvern, Ohio, Valerie Keck and Tracy Keck, both of Hanover; two great grandchildren, Brooke and Logan Eberts; a special friend, Steven ?Woody? Woods of Columbus, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, April 27, 2006 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, April 28, 2006 at the funeral home with Minister David Tingler officiating. Burial will be in Perryton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Perryton Church of Christ or the American Lung Association of Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
