A funeral service for Freda M. Price, 72 of Newark will be held Saturday March 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Johnstown, Ohio. Mrs. Price died Wednesday March 25, 2009 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born December 22, 1936 to the late Ernest and Nellie (Westerviler) Gardner. Mrs. Price retired from Park National Bank in 1999 with 25 years of service. She loved caring for her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Price, whom she married May 12, 1956; daughters, Marsha (Richard) Miller of Heath, Karen (Duane) Larason of Alexandria, Brenda Price of Granville; grandchildren, Douglas Larason, Thomas (Amber) Larason, Nicole Miller & Albert ?Trey? Smith, Amber Miller; great-grandchildren, Landon Larason, Kamdyn Smith; brother-in-law, Joseph Bussey of Frazeysburg; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Letha Boyer, Virginia Bussey, Hazel VanAtta; brother, Chester Gardner; great-granddaughter, Brianna Larason.
