FRAZEYSBURG ? Freda F. Boney, 91, of Nashport, Ohio died at 6:46pm Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Muskingum County Home in Zanesville, Ohio. Born July 15, 1916 in Zanesville, she was the daughter of the late Archie B. and Minnie B. (McQuigg) Miller and was a 1934 graduate of Nashport High School. Mrs. Boney retired in 1978 from Tri-Valley Schools where she had been a cook at Nashport Elementary School. She was a member of Nashport United Methodist Church and the Women?s Society of Christian Service. She was also a 60 year member of Richvale Grange and the Muskingum County Pomona Grange. Surviving is two daughters, Marilyn (Harlan) Davis and Betty (Richard) West, both of Zanesville; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer J. Boney who died April 11, 1978 and five brothers, Harold, Robert, Oral, Bernard and Forrest Miller. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the funeral home with the Rev. Clarence Dinnen officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
