Frances J. Vansickle, 71, of Adamsville, died unexpectedly Monday at her home. Born May 15, 1934 near Akron, she was a devoted wife, home maker and mother her entire life. She attended the Dresden U. Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, Nancy Sowers of Zanesville, Mary (Ken) Martin of Dresden, Karen (Randy) Embrey of Crooksville, John (Julia) Vansickle of Adamsville, Bruce (Connie) Vansickle of Adamsville and Randy (Becky) Vansickle of Dresden; grandchildren, Jody Sowers, Jessica Sowers, Jason Embrey, Jenny (Mike) Embrey Taylor, Brian (Susan) Martin, Lori Martin, Adam Martin, Jeremy Martin, Justin (Alyson) Vansickle, Jim Vansickle, Kimberly Vansickle, Steve Vansickle, Stacey Vansickle and Valerie Vansickle; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia Vansickle and Leon P. Norman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Vansickle on November 11, 2005, they had married January 31, 1952; her mother, Opal D. Weekley, and a brother Glenn Weekley. Friends may call 4-7PM Wednesday April 26, 2006 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Adamsville, where services will be held at 1PM Thursday with Pastor Ricci Arthur officiating.
