A funeral service for Frances Lucille Oliver, 83 of Newark will be Wednesday May 9, 2007 at the Church of God ? God?s Acres with Ron Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Fork Cemetery. Mrs. Oliver died Sunday morning at the Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark. She was born February 8, 1924 in Newark to the late Charles E. and Ethel B. (Ridenour) Shepherd. She had been a member of the Church of God for 67 years. She was also a member of Navy Mothers #146. She is survived by a daughter, Ruthann Oliver of Newark; a granddaughter, Rae Anne Naeler; a special granddaughter Victoria (Dan) Lucey; three great grandchildren, Brittany, Danielle, and Robert; step-grandchildren, Frances Oliver, Carol (Jerry) Parker, both of Newark, Jacque Rowe, Mike Fitzsimmons, Nita Fitzsimmons; and 14 step-great grandchildren.Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of God ? God?s Acres, 675 N. Cedar Street, Newark. The Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
