Forrest A. Frew, 85, of Nashport, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2022 at the home of his daughter in Pickerington, Ohio.  His family and those closest to him were at his side.

Born June 4, 1937 in Frazeysburg, Ohio he was a son of the late Ross W. and Hazel (Jennings) Frew and was a 1956 graduate of Frazeysburg High School.  Mr. Frew retired in 1993 from Rockwell International where he was a general foreman and a former member of the Ohio National Guard.  Forrest was a member of Nashport-Irville United Methodist Church.  He was an avid outdoorsman and an excellent woodworker and furniture builder.

Surviving are three daughters, Kim (Scott) Davis of Newark, Ohio, Kelly (Todd) Swick of Newark and Kristy (Jamie) Deist of Pickerington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Shannon (Eric Clark) Lang, Brandi (Roger) Atwood, Hunter (Zack) Husky, Morgan Williams and Stephanie Logan; four great grandchildren Dorrian Bolen, Laikyn, Lauryn and Kaitlyn Clark and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 63 years, Rosalie A. (Watton) Frew whom he married June 16, 1957 and who died May 12, 2021; a grandson, Bradley Williams; four brothers, Raymond, Ross, Blaine and John Frew and two sisters, Doris Hittle and Lilyan Minick.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday November 11, 2022 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Daft officiating.  Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
