A funeral service celebrating the life of Florence "Weeze" Louise Lohrman, 63, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday June 2, 2023 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be observed from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
Louise was born November 28, 1959 in Newark, Ohio to the late John P. and Gladys Y. (Halblaub) Schooler. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on May 29th, 2023.
Louise was a 1979 graduate of Licking County Joint Vocational School with a degree in child development. She was employed for many years as a teacher in local daycare and preschool facilities. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother; Louise is often known for being the life of the party. While she enjoyed relaxing with a cold-one by a bonfire, thrifting and yard-sales. She most often spent time with her close family and friends playing cornhole, various card and board games, and having cook-outs. She was Ohio State Buckeye's #1 fan! Louise never missed a game, always cheering and coaching them to their big wins from wherever she may be.
She was beloved by all who knew her. Louise will be greatly missed by loving husband, Jeffrey Lohrman; daughters, Lisa (Mike) Nelson, Billie (Josh) Grigsby; grandchildren, Jamie Chapman, Kylie (Kyle) Lawhon, Jesse (Ramona) Nelson, Emily Harvey, Hunter Grigsby; great-grandson, Paxton Nelson; father-in-law, George Lohrman; brother in-law, Mike (Cheryl) Lohrman; siblings, Bob Schooler, Donna Dunlap, Nona (Rick) Gayheart, Pat Schooler, John (Diane) Schooler; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, William Chapman; grandson, Noah Grigsby; sister, Carolyn (Rob) Cross; nephew, Brian Schooler; cousins, Ethel Thompson, Jim (Sally) Schooler; mother-in-law, Linda Lohrman.
