Faith L. Taylor, 96, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, formerly of Dresden, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2016 at Riverview Pointe Care Center in Olmsted Falls.
Born April 20, 1920 in Strongsville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Ebenezer A. and Inez (Case) Sprague and was a 1938 graduate of Strongsville High School. Mrs. Taylor was an office assistant in the Strongsville City Schools for many years. She was Methodist by faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann (Jim) Clark of Dresden and Pamela (John) Evans of Coshocton, Ohio; two sons, Randall Taylor of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Gary Taylor of Medina, Ohio; four grandchildren, Adam Smith, David (Kayela) Smith, Matthew (Abby) Smith and Timothy (Andrea) Clark; four great grandchildren, Charity, Christian, Connor and Skylar; two sisters, Ruth Sauchuk and Janet Slain and two brothers, Ben (Jean) Sprague and Clyde Sprague.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 57 years, Floyd W. Taylor whom she married September 9, 1944 and who died September 6, 2001 and two brothers, Lee Sprague and Calvin Sprague.
Calling hours will be 11am to NOON Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be at NOON Friday, April 1, 2016 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mesnard officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
