F. June Minner, 67, of Dresden, Ohio passed away Saturday afternoon, March 4, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark, Ohio with her loving family at her side.

Born November 27, 1949 in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Robert Aitken and Virginia (Spiker) Aitken Danley of Dresden. June was a 1967 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. She retired in 2016 from Tri-Valley Local Schools where she served as a clerk for over 34 years. She was a member of the Dresden United Methodist and the American Legion Auxiliary of Dresden. June was very active in all Tri-Valley Sports and other school activities. She was also very involved in researching her family's genealogy. June was a precious gift to the community and will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her loving husband of nearly 43 years, Terry R. Minner, whom she married May 4, 1974; a daughter and son in-law, Jamie and Greg Smith of Dresden; two grandchildren, Braden Smith and Madeline Smith; four sisters, Robin Aitken and Patricia Archer, both of Dresden, Sandy (Don) Michel of Zanesville and Linda (Dan) Paynter of Trinway; two sisters in-law, Sue Whiteus and Phyllis Minner, both of Dresden and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 2pm to 8pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday, March 9, 2017 at
Northgate Open Bible Church, 10516 Frazeysburg Road, Dresden with Pastors Mike and Melody Foster officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
