A funeral service for Evelyn L. West, 68 of Newark will be held Wednesday September 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Holman officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.Mrs. West died Sunday September 13, 2009 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center. She was born February 27, 1941 in Newark to the late Al Robinson and Lillian (Price) Robinson-Lindemann.She was a member of the Unvailing and Unfolding of the Truth Ministries. She enjoyed Bible Study croqueting, cooking, baking and crafts. She spent many hours listening to gospel music.Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Phillip West; Children, Robert (Nanette) Norman of Newark, Diana (Bob) Mosberg of Englewood, FL, Kenneth (MaryJo) Norman of Newark, Jeffrey (Lisa) Norman Newark, Daniel Norman of Newark; brothers, Edgar Robinson of Somerset, Glen (Beverly) Robinson of Newark; sister, Mary Ann McKenna of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Vance, Jennifer, Jessica, Joseph, Arthur, Autumn, Matthew, Blake, Spencer, Lauren, Conner, Brooklyn, Britney; great grandchildren, Mahala, Hayden, Jonah; several nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be observed Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Ohio 2269 Cherry Valley Road, P.O.
