Eva Rose ?Sis? Hastings, 53, of 7720 Mutton Ridge Road, Zanesville, was called home unexpectedly at 8:15AM Friday January 6, 2006 at her home. Born January 22, 1952 in Newark, she was a daughter of the late Frank Hastings and Mary (Smith) Hastings of Zanesville. She was a homemaker and liked to garden and work outdoors and loved all of her family and her cats. She will be missed by her family and remembered for her honesty, being very generous to all and never taking anything for granted. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters and nine brothers, Mary (Kenneth) Riehl, Frances Hastings, Jim, Frank, Stan, Pete, Roy, Rob, Chuck, Michael and Lincoln Hastings, all of Zanesville, several nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends. Her father, a brother, David Hastings, grandparents, Ronald Wilson, James and Eva Smith and Stanley and Marie Hastings preceded her in death. Friends may call 7-9PM Saturday and 2-4 & 7-9PM Sunday at the Adamsville Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11AM Monday January 9, 2006 with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Hastings Family Cemetery.
