FRAZEYSBURG ? Ethel L. Wright, 82, of Frazeysburg, Ohio, died at 9:51am, Monday, February 23, 2004 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, Ohio. Born July 2, 1921 in Pratt, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice (Schouten) Millard. Mrs. Wright was owner and operator of the Powder Puff Beauty Salon in Frazeysburg and retired in 1987. She was a member of the 20th Century Club and worked on the election board for many years. She was active in many community activities, including the Frazeysburg swimming pool committee. Surviving is one son, Don C. Lawrence of Tampa, Florida; four daughters, Nita (Duane) Hood of Frazeysburg, Susie Cassie of Lima, Ohio, Katie (Fred) Ikehorn of Newark and Cathy (Dale) Cleaveland of Alexandria, Ohio; two brothers, George (Marilyn) Millard of Tampa, Florida and Lawrence (Connie) Millard of Sarasota, Florida; three sisters, Doris Mastas of Tacoma, Washington, Anna (Hoy) Flemming of Phoenix, Arizona and Joyce (Jack) Grubb of Colorado Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother in-law, Herbert Whatley of Carlsbad, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wright, whom she married September 15, 1951, and who died November 19, 1967; a sister, Boots Whatley, and a son in-law, John Cassie. Calling hours will be from 11:00am until service time, which will be at 1:00pm Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg with Rev.
