A funeral service for E. Marie Spearman, 70 of St. Louisville will be held Tuesday March 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Homes with Rev. Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.Mrs. Spearman a member of the Utica American Legion Post 92 Auxiliary died at her residence Saturday March 6, 2004. She was born November 20, 1933 in Davis, West Virginia to the late Fred and Ruth (Wilfong) Mick.Mrs. Spearman is survived by three daughters, Sheila Rotert of St. Louisville, Anita (Howard) Davis of Newark, Dawn (Glen) Stephens of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, John Spearman of Gallipolis; seven grandchildren, Billie Rotert, Donita Rotert, Katie (Jack) Woolverton, Donald Davis, Gwen Davis, Felicia Stephens, Allen Stephens; great granddaughter, Abbygayle Hicks; sisters, Betty Kidd of St. Louisville, Ruthann (Richard) Frye of Monroeville; brother, Fred (Deanna) Mick of Utica; brother-in-law, Dale Johnson of St. Louisville; long time friend, Nancy Morrow of Newark; numerous nieces and nephews.Her husband, Donald G. Spearman, died June 17, 1984 also step-father, Ernest Parsons and sister, Thelma Johnson are deceased. Calling hours will be observed Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.The family suggests contribution to the Newton Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. Emergency Squad P.O.
