Erma V. Meredith, 87, of Coshocton, formerly of Dresden, died at 6:40PM Sunday January 29, 2006 at Hanover House in Massillon following a three week illness. Mrs. Meredith was born May 1, 1918 near Dresden, a daughter of the late Ernest and Freda (Graves) Lynn. She was a member of the Dresden U. Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the Bonnie Longaberger Senior Center. Surviving are her son, John ?Jack? (Susan) Meredith of Coshocton; grandchildren, Debra Nales of FL, Bill Dawson of IN, Cathy Dawson of Canton, Jackie Newell of Coshocton, Kelly Meredith and John Meredith both of W. Lafayette; great grandchildren, Rebecca Dawson, Lindsay Dawson, Marco Nales, Joseph Crossley, Jennie Crossley, Louisa Newell; a brother, James (Dorothy) Lynn of Dresden and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Meredith on March 1, 1989; two brothers, Floyd and Charles Lynn and a sister, Pauline King. Friends may call 6-8PM Friday Feb. 3, 2006 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 1PM with Pastor Ricci Arthur officiating.
