Elsie I. Stevens

Elsie I. Stevens, 83, of Trinway, died Saturday afternoon, May 30, 2026, at her home.

Born September 4, 1943, in West Virginia, she is a daughter of the late Edward and Virginia (Hodge) Ball. She worked at Ohio Plastic in the 70’s , she owned and operated her own Marathon Gas Station in Dresden and was a weaver for the Longaberger Company. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, gardening and canning and she never missed stopping at a yard sale. 

Her greatest joy in life was caring for and raising children.

Surviving are her three sons, Alden Beatty, David (Paula) Reger, and Harry Reger; a daughter Beverly Beatty; eight grandchildren, two siblings, Bonnie and Ronald and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings.
