Elogene P. Wagner Roberts Wilson, 85, of Newark, Ohio died Monday morning, September 10, 2012 at her home. Born February 24, 1927 in Norwich, Ohio, she was one of thirteen children born to the late Manoah and Sarah Pethtel Cameron and was their last surviving child. She was a 1945 graduate of Frazeysburg High School and was a former cheerleader. Mrs Wilson was a member of the Frazeysburg United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was also a former Girl Scout leader and a member of the Eastern Star. She worked as a nurse's aide at Licking Memorial Hospital and a receptionist for Dr. Manino in Newark. She was a home health care giver and assisted with Alzheimer patients for many years. Mrs. Wilson's greatest love in life was helping others and she was very charitable, always giving to local and meaningful charities and assisting anyone in need. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, she is survived by one son, Edgar "Bill" Roberts of Newark; a daughter Gloria "Sissy" (Michael) Roberts Stokes Dunlap of Nashport; twelve grandchildren: Shad (Mandy) Wagner, Stephanie (Mike) Mercer, Tracy Wagner Kessler, Tobie Wagner (Bill) Bartoe, Bryan A. Wagner, Angela (Brian) Sprankle, Brenton (Jennifer) Stokes, Dustin (Lory) Ankrom, Jason (Alison) Ankrom, Kelsa (Shane) Albaugh, Brian (Tina) Hunter, and Kelli (Robert) Edwards; several great grandchildren; one great great grandson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Brice Wagner, her second husband, Edgar Roberts, Sr., her third husband, Charles Wilson; three sons, Brice "Bud" Wagner, Edward "Art" Wagner and Charles Wagner; eight sisters, Hazel Cameron, Joanna Ragor, Roberta Stiles, Mary Alice Oldaker, Phyllis Kanavel, Juanita Bone, Geraldine Moran and Doris Barrick; and four brothers, Earl, Beryl, Henry and Jack Cameron. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, September 14, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mesnard officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
