Obituary
Ellen L. Prouty, 79, of Dresden, died at 4:30AM Tuesday August 3, 2010 at Autumn Healthcare in Zanesville.
Mrs. Prouty was born March 13, 1931 in Dresden, a daughter of the late Clinton and Ethel (Booth) Robinson. A life-long Dresden resident, she had worked at the original Popeyeâ??s Restaurant and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dresden.
Surviving are her husband, Larry D. Prouty; one son, Stan (Valerie) Dobson of Frazeysburg; grandchildren, Jason Dobson, Ausha (John) Moore, Tess Dobson, Shawna Dobson; great grandchildren, Dominic and Noah Moore and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, George, Gilbert and Delbert Robinson and a sister, Doris Jones.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1PM Thursday August 5, 2010 at the Dresden Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Dennis officiating.
