The sun rose on Elizabeth Ann "Annie" Stratman May 25, 1928 and her final sunset was September 29, 2013. She was the daughter of Charles and Uleta Holder of Coshocton and she married her life mate, Franklin Stratman in November of 1947.
Annie loved to sew, make crafts and bake and share them with her friends and neighbors. She loved growing flowers, especially orchids and feeding her many birds. Her door was always open for friends to visit. She treasured her girls and grandsons.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Frank, her daughters Kristine McCoy of Conesville, Tina (Dan) Embrey of Zanesville; grandsons Jeremy McCoy of Conesville, Nathan Embrey of Zanesville and Nicholas (Anna) Embrey of East Fultonham; sisters Mary Byers of PA, Nancy Wyler and Judy Philabaum of Coshocton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, David, Dessel, Charles, and Skip Holder, a sister Laura and a very special son in law Larry "Pete" McCoy.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be observed 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Dresden Cemetery with Jim Martin officiating.
