Elizabeth B. (Jones) Noel, 82, formerly of Adams Mills and Nashport, died Tuesday December 19, 2006 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Noel was born September 28, 1924 in Perryton, a daughter of the late Arthur H. and Blanche M. (Billman) Jones. She was a graduate of Nashport High School, and had played softball on the old Snider-Flautt Lumber team in Zanesville. She also enjoyed bowling in Zanesville and Coshocton. Mrs. Noel had worked for Wayne and Gilbert Cox at Cox Farms in Adams Mills, at the Mayflower Restaurant in Zanesville and at Spitler?s Restaurant in Coshocton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dresden. Surviving are a son William (Robin) Noel of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Ed (Virginia) Jones of Dresden, Robert Jones of N. Carolina; sisters, Helen Garver of Dresden, Blanche Gill of Philo; grandchildren, Erica Lynn (Daniel) Lathem of Gainesville, FL, William Jason (Yuko) Noel serving with the US Air Force in Kansas and a great granddaughter, Emily Anne Lathem. She was preceded in death by her husband, George William Noel on May 26, 1973; brothers, John, Arthur and Frank Jones; three infant brothers and a close friend, Harold Shinn in 1979. Friends may call 6-9PM Friday December 22, 2006 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held on Saturday at 11AM with her brother, Pastor Ed Jones officiating.
