FRAZEYSBURG ? Elisha Adkins, 72, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 7:00pm Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born December 28, 1934 in Stiltner, West Virginia he was the son of the late Harmon and Martha Jane (Caldwell) Adkins. Mr. Adkins was a machine operator with A. T. & T. where he retired in 1988 with 29 years of service. He was a member of the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman and he enjoyed Bluegrass music. Surviving is his wife, Olive (Dingess) Adkins, whom he married December 18, 1954; one son, Lyndon Ray Adkins of Granville, Ohio; six daughters, Kennetha (Ray) Weaver and Theresa (Gary, Jr.) White, both of Frazeysburg, Robin (Lee) Siddle of Dresden, Ohio, Deana (Damon) Elizondo of Pataskala, Ohio, Lisa (Tim) Payne of Thornville, Ohio and Angela (Eric) Napier of Genoa, West Virginia; two brothers, Charles Adkins of Wayne, West Virginia and Harley (Libby) Adkins of Ceredo, West Virginia; two sisters, Clara Caldwell of Kenova, West Virginia and Cora Reed of Huntington, West Virginia; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 6 to 9pm Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the funeral home with Pastor Louis Isch officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
