Edwin A. Wisecarver, 71, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday morning, May 12, 2018 at The Oaks at Bethesda in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born September 4, 1946 in Zanesville he was a son of the late Chalmer C. and Hazel M. (King) Wisecarver and was a graduate of Dresden Jefferson High School.  Following high school he proudly served our country in the U. S. Army.

Mr. Wisecarver was a retired employee of the Longaberger Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are two sons, Scott (Karen) Wisecarver of Bellville, Ohio and James (Robin) Drain of Barrackville, West Virginia; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Bill (Delores) Wisecarver of Frazeysburg; three sisters, Helen (Jim) Jenning of North Carolina, Mary (Fred) Ohl of Duncan Falls, Ohio and Donna (Dave) Gleckner of Dresden and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary F. (Squires) Wisecarver, whom he married May 5, 1970; a brother, Lester King and two sisters, Frances McCoid and Gertie Wisecarver.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
