Edward J. Cloud, 85, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Monday afternoon, April 27, 2015 at his home.
Born March 19, 1930 in Buffalo, New York he was a son of the late John and Amelia Cloud and was a Navy veteran having served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was a retired mine safety inspector working for the Department of Labor, Mining Safety and Health Administration. Mr. Cloud was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church; the Racing Pigeons Club and the Gold Prospectors of America Association. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, but his greatest enjoyment was his family.
Surviving is his wife, Teresa R. (Machuta) Cloud whom he married July 6, 1985; a son Clayton Cloud of St. Joseph, Missouri; four daughters, Debbie (Calvin) Rogers of Oregon, Missouri, Jody (Charles) Golden and Linda Bish, both of St. Joseph, Missouri and Beth (Anthony) Bish of Helena, Missouri; three step-sons, Rick (Robin) Rossego and Larry Rossego, both of Ravenna, Ohio and John (Paula) Rossego of Lodi, Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many friends.
Calling hours will be from Noon to 2pm Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, May 1, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastors Karl Hoffman and Claude Likens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Bladensburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Christian Church or to Hospice of Central Ohio.
