A funeral service for Edmund F. "Butch" Larrick,Jr., 72 of Newark will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Calling hours will be observed from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home

Mr. Larrick passed away on Monday July 12, 2021. He was born in Columbus on February 17, 1949 to Edmund F. Larrick, Sr. and Alice J. (Cummings) Larrick.

Mr. Larrick enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, watching Sci-Fi movies and working on his cars. He was a fan of OSU Buckeye Football and the Cleveland Browns. He had been employed with Timken Company in Columbus. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was a member of VFW # 1060.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Joy L. (Gothard) Larrick; daughters, Rachel L. Armstrong, Julia Larrick; grandchildren, Chad Butcher, Davien Armstrong, Rose Armstrong, Zeplyn Woods all of Newark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edmund F. Larrick, III; sisters, Sandra Larrick and Carolyn Larrick.
