FRAZEYSBURG ? Edmond G. ?Mac? MacFerren, 91, of 177 South Main Street, Newark, Ohio, died Monday morning, February 2, 2004 at his home. Born June 5, 1912 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Oscar and Clara MacFerren. He was a retired maintenance man with the Ohio National Guard and was a life member of the Zanesville Eagles. Surviving is two step-sons, Galen G. (Ruth) Rouanzoin and Lowell ?Bill? (Frances) Rouanzoin, both of Newark; one sister, Clara Hopkins of Newark; nine step-grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Irene (Harrison) MacFerren, whom he married June 19, 1956 and who died April 24, 1994; a step-daughter, Donna Hoskinson; three brothers, his twin, William, George and Oscar, a step-brother, Jess Stutz; a sister, Marie Micklethwaite; a step-sister, Betty Porter; and one grandchild. There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Hanover Cemetery with Rev. Jefferey Mercer officiating.
