A private funeral service will be held for E. Dianne Burkholder, 77 of Newark at Newark Memorial Gardens with Cory Campbell officiating.

Dianne passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Altercare Newark North. She was born December 11, 1943 in Newark to Willis Chester and Bonnie Jean (Detty) Lybarger.

Dianne was a graduate of Licking Valley High School. She was very active in church activities and attended the Redeemer's Church in Columbus. She enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles and playing euchre. She looked forward to the Christmas holidays and loved infant children. She was devoted to her family and always made time to visit and stay connected in their lives.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Burkholder of Martinsville, VA., Tonya Burkholder & Brian Betts of Newark, Richard (Christy) Burkholder of Newark; grandchildren, Caitlin Pike, Austin Pike, Victoria (Marco) Diaz, Abigail Burkholder, Julia Burkholder; great-grandchildren, Mateo Diaz, Camden Carillo-Pike, Amelia Burkholder; sisters, Sue Lybarger of Newark, Judy Zinser & Bruce of Westerville; brothers, Doug Lybarger, Craig (Cheree) Lybarger, Greg Lybarger Jan (Penny) Lybarger all of Newark; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Lois Lybarger.
