Dwight Paul Kelly, 74, of Dresden, died Saturday morning, July 1, 2023 at his home.

Born April 12, 1949 in Zanesville, he was a son of the late Paul S. and L. Fern (McGee) Kelly and a 1967 graduate of Zanesville High school.  He attended Zane State College and Ohio University.  Dwight worked various jobs throughout his life, from Columbia Cement, Coke-Cola Bottling, the papermill in Circleville and retiring from Ametec Solid State Controls. He was a member of the F & AM Lodge #103 for over fifteen years and attended the Dresden United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 17 years, Linda Wiczen Kelly, whom he married on June 17, 2006; six bonus children, Roger (Amysta) Harlan, Brian (Tracey) Harlan, Steven (Christina) Harlan, Candace Harlan, Scott Wiczen and Brandon Wiczen; a granddaughter, Allanna Harlan, three sisters, Patricia (Nelson) Ritner, Loretta Ansel and Kara Kelly and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Terry Kelly.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil and Chute, 714 Main Street.

Masonic services will be held at 4:00pm, Wednesday, July 5, 2023 with funeral services to follow immediately with Pastor Dan Wells officiating.
