A funeral service for Douglas S. Wilson, 41, of Newark will be held at 11AM Friday August 18, 2006 at the Heath Church of Christ, 1331 Chapel Way, Heath, with Dave Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Hanover Cemetery. Mr. Wilson died Sunday evening August 13, 2006 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. He was born February 8, 1965 in Zanesville. Mr. Wilson was a 1983 graduate of Licking Valley High School had worked at Gutridge Plumbing and was a member the Perryton Church of Christ and had attended the Heath Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Jennifer L. (Nutter) Wilson, whom he married February 21, 1998; his father, Paul J. Wilson of Hanover; his children, Mackenzie R. Wilson of Glenford, Kahlee Brooke Wilson of Heath, Jacob D. Cottrell of Hanover, Colton S. Wilson of Newark, Tiffany L. Bates of Newark, a brother, William A. (Monique) Wilson of Tucson, AZ, a sister-in-law, Jane Anne Wilson of Washington Court House and a niece, Meredith Wilson of Washington Court House. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie I. (Antill) Wilson and a brother, Paul Cash Wilson. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-9PM Wednesday August 16, 2006 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
