FRAZEYSBURG â?? Douglas L. Marshall, 67, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Thursday afternoon, January 28, 2010, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice after a very courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 1, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio he was the son of the late Howard P. and Kathleen O. (Ditter) Marshall and was a 1960 graduate of Zanesville High School. Mr. Marshall was a installed sales coordinator with Loweâ??s of Columbus. His greatest joys in life was spending time with his family and playing jazz music and he was saxophone player with the Blue Knights Band of Zanesville.
Surviving is his wife, Sherol D. (Untied) Marshall, whom he married May 3, 1975; two sons and daughters in-law, Steven and Lisa Marshall of Seville, Ohio and Justin and Michelle Marshall of Frazeysburg; two daughters and sons in-law, Stacey and Mike Winterbauer of New Carney, Texas and Errin and Greg Rhodes of Frazeysburg; eleven grandchildren, Emma, Ian, Truxton, Kaleigha, Jaxson, Brandy, Julie, Aarek, Aran, Taylor and Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Bell.
Calling hours will be from 4pm to 6pm on Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street with a celebration of Dougâ??s life following the calling hours with Minister Josh Miller officiating.
At the conclusion of the service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the home of Dougâ??s son, Justin in Frazeysburg with all in attendance invited.
