A funeral service for Douglas E. Lewis, 46 of Coshocton will be held Tuesday February 6, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Homes with Rev. Robert L. Knox officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Mr. Lewis died Thursday February 1, 2007 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1961 in Newark, Ohio to Delores (Flowers) McPeek of Coshocton and the late Lester J. ?Red? Lewis. Douglas enjoyed being outdoors. He loved being in the woods, camping and his many pets. His many interests included woodcarving and inventions. He played the drums for enjoyment and also in a band. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Urey) Lewis whom he married October 12, 2000; daughter, Amanda Lynn Lewis of Heath; brother, David (Shari) Lewis of Hanover; sister, Sandra (George) Hutchison of Newark, four step-children; one step-grandson; a niece; three nephews; seven great nieces and great nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be observed Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
