Dorthey M. Wolford, 91, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Wednesday evening August 8, 2012 at Forest View Nursing Home in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born September 13, 1920 in Jackson Township of Muskingum County she was a daughter of the late Emmett and Minnie May (Moran) Sheppard and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wolford was a member of the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church.
Surviving are two sons and daughters in-law, Fred Richard and Gladys Wolford and Bill and Becky Wolford, all of Frazeysburg; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; her sister in-law, Dorotha Priest of Frazeysburg; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Rosemary Tennant of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Fred Wolford whom she married April 26, 1937 and who died June 8, 1993; a son, Ronald Lewis Wolford; one great grandchild; one great great grandchild; five brothers and four sisters.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Frazeysburg Community Bible Church, 195 Second Street, Frazeysburg with the Rev. Al Van Fossen officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
