Dorothy V. Sensibaugh, 93, of Nashport, Ohio died Saturday morning, September 30, 2017 at The Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville, Ohio.
A life-long resident of Muskingum County, she was born July 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Clay and Dolly (Yingling) Anderson. Dorothy was a 1942 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. She was a former employee of Essex Wire of Zanesville, The Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg and was a homemaker. Mrs. Sensibaugh was a member of Nashport-Irville United Methodist Church and was the church custodian for many years.
Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Daniel R. and Kathy Sensibaugh of Nashport; one daughter and son in-law, Linda F. and Fred Sterling of Nashport; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Bonnie Jean Wolford of Frazeysburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald R. Sensibaugh whom she married December 11, 1944 and who died July 29, 1995; two brothers, Virgil and Dale Anderson and a sister, Lenor Brown.
Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Arland King officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
