A funeral service for Dorothy P. O?Neal, 90 of Newark will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Central Christian Church, 587 Mount Vernon Road, Newark with Rev. Rick Rintamaa officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Mrs. O?Neal died August 11, 2008 at Autumn Health Care Center in Newark. She was born June 23, 1918 in Newark to the late Wesley and Muriel (Payne) Blizzard. Mrs. O?Neal was a 1936 graduate of Newark High School. She had worked as an office manager for the Department of Agriculture. She was a member of Central Christian Church (Disciple?s of Christ). She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and collecting angels. Survivors include a niece, Janice (Jim) Rauch of Lancaster; a nephew, Gail Vermilion of Newark; and her special friend, Margaret Miller of Heath. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey R. O?Neal, and her sister Leona Vermilion. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Christian Church.
