FRAZEYSBURG ? Dorothy E. Lacey, 90, of Frazeysburg, died at 7:00AM Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Willow Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Lacey was born October 21, 1913 in Kent, Ohio, a daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Davis) Layton. She was a member of the Dresden U. Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Lois) Lacey, Sr., of Zanesville, Paul (Mary Jo) Lacey of Tomball, TX, daughters, Jeanne (William) Senter of Dresden, Pam (John) Smith of Frazeysburg, 12 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great grandchildren, five expectant great grandchildren and her sister, Garnet Birkhimer of Dresden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl L. (Buck) Lacey on April 5, 1979, a daughter, Rita Mae Lacey, a brother Floyd Layton and two sisters, Ruth Layton and Mildred Bowers. Friends may call 6-8PM Friday June 11, 2004 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home where services will be held at 11AM Saturday with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Dresden Cemetery.
